Guided visits to Hicks Lodge

Our learning partner, Wild Minds Nature Connection CIC, offer a wide range of educational visit activities designed to tie in with multiple areas of the National Curriculum. Activities are grouped into curriculum phases, but all can be tailored to suit the needs and abilities of all children. Each of the exciting and hands on practitioner-led sessions will take the children through a series of activities that will help them strengthen the skills and knowledge they already possess and will allow them to develop new skills and learn about nature and forest management in a way they haven’t before, developing confidence, self-esteem, practical skills and positive mental health and wellbeing.

They also offer an outdoor Alternative Provision for children who are not attending school full-time.
