Corbet easy access trail at Haughmond Hill
Corbet easy access trail
Follow the yellow waymarkers along this surfaced trail through mixed woodland with frequent benches. Visitors with wheelchairs, mobility scooters and buggies should find this walk suitable.
This trail is also home to our family activity trail, which changes theme each year.
Fun fact: The trail is named after the Corbet Family, who were the owners of Sundorne Estate from the late 1700s to the 1950s. They once owned Haughmond Hill, the Abbey and much of the surrounding land. Haughmond Castle, a folly which once stood on the viewpoint, was built by John Corbet and stood for 150 years.
