Forest Live announces Tom Jones and Becky Hill shows

The summer concert series Forest Live, presented by Forestry England, has announced British musical legend Tom Jones and pop queen Becky Hill as the latest stars to perform shows in unique forest settings next summer. Sir Tom will be performing in High Lodge, Thetford Forest with support from Gabrielle on Friday 28 June 2024, and Becky Hill comes to Delamere Forest on Thursday 13 June 2024.

Sir Tom Jones continues to sustain his popularity around the world, captivating audiences with his timeless discography of hit songs and enduring talent and charisma. Best known for songs including “It’s Not Unusual,” “What’s New, Pussycat?”, “Green, Green Grass of Home,” and “Delilah” from the 1960s, Sir Tom has had a steady string of hits throughout his remarkable career spanning more than six decades. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest singers and recording artists of all time, selling more than 100 million records and continuing as an esteemed and influential figure in the music industry.

Support for Tom Jones comes from British singer Gabrielle, known for the chart-topping “Dreams”, as well as “Out of Reach” amongst many other hits.

Becky Hill has an irrefutable aptitude for writing chart-smashing dance-pop songs and a reputation as a leading force in the UK music scene. She is without a doubt one of the UK's most exceptional talents, having secured two BRIT Awards, eighteen Top 40 singles and billions of streams. Her sensational live show will once again showcase her incredible vocal prowess, captivating stage presence, and her ability to connect with fans in an unparalleled way.

Becky Hill joins legends Sting (14 June) and Nile Rodgers and CHIC (15 June) as the latest Forest Live performer to be announced for a stunning string of shows at Delamere, while Tom Jones joins Sting (22 June) in the run of artists playing at Thetford. The list of stars for Forest Live 2024 continues with pop star Anne-Marie, who recently announced performances at Sherwood Pines (22 June), Cannock Chase Forest (27 June) and Westonbirt Arboretum (5 July).

Forestry England uses the money Forest Live raises to maintain beautiful natural areas for everyone to enjoy, run important conservation projects and keep growing trees. Last year they planted some 7.4 million trees, caring for the nation’s 1,500 woods and forests sustainably and welcoming 291 million visits in 2022-23. Everyone in England lives within a one-hour drive of one of the nation’s forests. Over two million people have enjoyed the Forest Live gigs over the last twenty-three years. This year, they present the concerts in partnership with Live Nation’s Cuffe & Taylor for the first time. Gigs will take place at six forests throughout England – Delamere Forest, Dalby Forest, Sherwood Pines, High Lodge Thetford Forest, Westonbirt Arboretum and Cannock Chase Forest.

We are continuing the work we have already started to make the nation’s forests resilient to climate change and by 2026 we will:

  • create at least 6,000 more hectares where we integrate wilding activities in our productive forests.
  • increase the diversity of visitors to the nation’s forests and have one million hours of high-quality volunteer time given to the nation’s forests.
