Pedal and Play trail

COMING SOON! Pedal and Play trail at Sherwood Pines

Pedal and Play is a new mountain bike play trail coming to Sherwood Pines which helps riders build off-road cycling skills for those relatively new to mountain biking and aims to give them the confidence to progress to the blue-graded Robin Hood Adventure Trail. There will also be an exciting cycle-themed play area within this new activity hub.

Pedal and Play features three challenges, each designed to teach riders new trail riding skills:

  • Arrowhead Loop Challenge - learn new skills, berms and turns and ride the rollers!
  • Quiver Challenge - hone your skills with four different lines to conquer!
  • Duel Challenge - race your friends and put your new skills to the test!

We are working hard to make Pedal and Play as inclusive as possible including trail widths suitable for adapted cycles, accessible seating and play features that make sure all children feel welcome and included, regardless of any additional needs they may have (with accessible surfacing around these features).
