We are delighted to be able to welcome back school and group visits to the Forest of Dean. Please make sure you book in advance and give us 3-4 weeks notice. Bookings can be made by contacting leoni.dawson@forestryengland.uk.

Please note: we are only able to receive one class bubble each day. Our sites are busy and access to car parks, play equipment and other facilities may be reduced.

The Forest of Dean offers fantastic learning opportunities for people of all ages and abilities.

With a number of visitor sites each offering a unique experience, the Forest of Dean is a wonderful setting for groups to get involved in a range of learning activities that combine hands-on education with ideas for active minds. From the play area and walking trails at Beechenhurst, to the peace and quiet of the babbling brook at Wenchford the Forest of Dean has something for everyone.

If you wish to organise your own visit, there are lots of opportunities and free downloadable resources. Click on Learning Resources in the "more information" panel.
