Help look after the forest you love
Trail Stewards
We are looking for a small team of Litter Picking Trail Stewards to help us keep the wood safe and tidy for visitors and wildlife. Your role will involve litter picking key areas, such as Bell Wood, the Picnic areas and the car park and the adjacent bridleway.
You will be a face of Forestry England, engaging with visitors on the following areas:
- The lifecycle of the forest including the timeline of growing this new woodland
- Answering questions about Forestry England's management of the nation's forests
Training will be provided, and opportunities to take on further responsibilities as the woodland grows may be available.
