Our cycle trails offer something for everyone, from beginners and families looking for a fun day out, to adrenalin junkies looking for a challenge.

Follow our 9km family cycle trail using shared-use forest road or 13km of single-track for mountain-biking, there's lots to explore around this 2000 acre forest. See the links below for the cycling activities and trails at Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest.

We welcome all electrically assisted pedal cycles (EAPCs), but any electric bike that does not meet the EAPC guidelines, along with motocross bikes, quads and scooters, are not permitted.

Bike hire is coming back to Bedgebury! You can book your bikes online from Saturday 28 March, 2026. 

Enjoy 2 or 4 hours of cycling along beautiful forest trails with no need to bring your own bike. Helmets are included with every hire, and we offer a wide range of bike sizes, plus baby seats, two seater buggy's and tagalongs so the whole family can get involved.

Riders under 16 must wear a helmet, and we recommend helmets for all cyclists. You’re welcome to bring and use your own helmet if you prefer.
