All-terrain mobility scooter hire at Beechenhurst

Visitors with permanent or temporary limited mobility can hire our all-terrain mobility scooter, also known as a Tramper. You do not need to be registered disabled to hire a scooter.

All-terrain mobility scooters:

• are safe and easy to use
• are suitable for anyone over the age of 14, even if you’ve never used a scooter before
• handle a range of surfaces and gradients
• can be used in most weather conditions

First-time users will receive a short introduction about how the scooter works from one of our rangers, ensuring they feel confident and comfortable before setting off.

How to hire

Please note that:

• booking enquiries must be made at least 48 hours in advance
• we have one mobility scooter available

Hire times

Hire can start at:

• 10am
• 10:30am
• 11am

Hire prices

• Up to 1.5 hours: £2.50
• Up to 3 hours: £5

Countryside Mobility

Our scooter hire is available thanks to our partnership with the Countryside Mobility scheme.

If you are not already a member, joining is quick and easy and will be part of your induction. Membership options available to you are:

• £3 for a single hire
• £5 for a 2-week taster membership
• £15 for an annual membership

Once you’re a member, you won’t need to repeat this process each time. Your membership works like a “driving licence,” giving you access to over 60 beautiful locations across their partner network.
