The beautiful Rockingham forest surrounds this tranquil site, just a short distance from Stamford.

Campervans are welcome to stay overnight in Forestry England's castle car park. No need to book, park up and enjoy the dark sky views.

Campervans, caravans and motorhomes 

Most campsites will accommodate campervans, caravans and motorhomes, and many provide hard standing pitches and electric hook-ups to make vanlife even easier. 

Overnight motorhome stays are also permitted at the Kielder Castle car park, a designated dark skies area. No pre-booking is needed, simply park up and take in the stunning scenery around you and in the skies above.
