Deepdale habitat trail at Dalby Forest

Explore a peaceful nature reserve within the bounds of the forest

This short trail 2.1km (1.3 mile) trail drops down into the valley of Deepdale on the most north-easterly edge of Dalby Forest. The loop follows the head of the valley with a crossing of White Beck surrounded by natural birch woodland.

Deepdale is a nature reserve sometimes named the "Forest in Miniature", because all the features found in the woodland here are replicated somewhere else in the wider Dalby Forest.
