Play areas at Dalby Forest

Climb, slide and build in the heart of the forest

Grandfather Oak play area

Swing, climb, hide and spark their imaginations at the Grandfather Oak playground in Dalby.

Test your climbing skills on this fun playground with so much for the mind to explore. Hide away in our wooden teepees, clamber on the climbing frame or make your way round the playground and find your joy in the wildplay area.

Den building is highly encouraged!

The Grandfather Oak playground is next to the Visitor Centre with seating for adults, meaning you can enjoy a brew or some lunch with full view over the playground.

Why not grab some food and drink from our nearby cafes?

Adderstone play area

At Adderstone, the large open field is the ideal place to ignite those imaginations or play ball games.

Pack the bag with a football or frisbee and enjoy the space to have fun and games. With wooded areas skirting around the field, there is plenty of room for the avid den builder. From here you can easily access the Gruffalo Orienteering trail, with the Gruffalo Party Trail a short 10-minute walk away
