Eddi's Hillfort

A brand new hillfort-themed play area has been created at Delamere Forest.

Located on the mound near the Visitor Centre and facilities, this has been made possible thanks to support from targeted funding from UK Government to improve access to nature. This means when we were designing and building this new facility we really focused on finding out about what sort of things the local community would like to see to help welcome and include as many fun seekers as possible, regardless of any additional needs they may have. By using our Inclusive Play Principles, and consulting with local people, we look forward seeing lots more people able to play together in the forest.
