What to expect

A relaxed environment where you can chat to us, find out what is on offer, get to know the site and try out some activities.

  • Find out about planning a self-led visit to Alice Holt Forest or your local woodland with our lesson plans, learning resources and other on site activities.
  • Join Forestry England staff outside to have a go at some of the Ranger in a Bag activities you can use on site with your pupils.
  • Take a map of the site and check out the areas we’ve highlighted as the perfect places to take your group.
  • Explore our Stick Man education pack and follow the Stick Man trail.
  • Hot and cold drinks and biscuits will be available in the classroom – please bring your own reusable cup/water bottle if you have one.
