Nature ID walks

During the months of June, July and August, enjoy free guided ID walks at Sence Valley. Tree ID, botany, bats and butterflies are just some of the things you can enjoy. It’s a series of events running through until October, but our later dates are at Forestry England sites in the wider National Forest. 

Sunday 17 May 6am – bird dawn chorus – Sence Valley

3 Jun – 5.30pm Tree ID, Bignalls Wood, Lount

2 Jul – 5.30pm - Botany & app ID – Sence Valley

31 July 12.30pm – butterfly ID - Sence Valley

19 August – sunset 8.30pm ish – Sence Valley

2 Oct – 12.30pm – tree ID - Dimmingsdale

31 October 12.30pm – fungi  – Gresley/Hicks Lodge
