Are you ready to take on one of the toughest and most scenic trail events in the Lake District?

Join Wild Deer Events in May 2026 for the Whinlatter Trail Half Marathon & 10K, a spectacular and challenging event set in the awe-inspiring Whinlatter Forest, with stunning views across Keswick, Skiddaw, and Derwentwater.

Date: Sunday 24th May 2026

  • 🏃‍♂️ Half Marathon – 9:50 AM
  • 🏃 10K Trail Run – 10:00 AM

Note: Runs start on the North Side and finish on the South Side of Whinlatter Forest.

🏃‍♂️ Half Marathon Trail Run

  • 13.1 miles
  • Tough elevation & breathtaking views

🏃 10K Trail Run

  • 6.2 miles
  • Still challenging, but suitable for intermediate runners
