Squirrel Chaser blue cycle trail at Hamsterley Forest

A smooth, undulating figure-of-8 trail.

Views of the beck lead to fun, swooping singletrack with a mixture of progressive trail features.

These provide a moderate challenge to build skills and confidence, and to help you explore the other trails.

Follow the Grove Link on a shared trail with gentle rises and dips. Join a short forest drive section leading to 1.6km of progressive singletrack.

Return via a scenic path alongside Ayhope Beck or cross a narrow footbridge to tackle a switchback climb and fun filled descent into the deeper forest.
