Self-led Sensory Walk at Westonbirt Arboretum

Connect with the forest through our self-led Sensory Walks at Westonbirt

Going for a sensory walk helps you get outside, be active and connect with nature.

Choose from two self-led Sensory Walks at Westonbirt:

  • Acer Glade is a delightful walk, taking in trees, a pond and open grassland. The route is on compact gravel paths that are suitable for wheelchairs.
  • Savill Glade is an easy walk around Savill Glade, taking in the seasonal changes in the trees. This route is also on compact gravel paths that are suitable for wheelchairs.

This is a pay to enter visitor attraction, however Carers of Access visitors receive free admission.

Before you visit, you may wish to download the Making Walks Sensory toolkit produced by Sense which contains advice on planning walks and some suggested sensory activities. It’s the perfect companion for a sensory walk!
