Echoes of Place – paintings and prints at Westonbirt Arboretum

Local artists Gill Ashley and Jenny Riley use a variety of media to express ‘Echoes of Place’ through contemporary landscapes, still life and abstract  paintings, often using memory of colour and the language of paint to provide studies in light and form through the observed and the imagined.  

Both artists have studied art through professional courses and exhibit in local venues and through a variety of art societies.

Both artists are members of the Friends of Westonbirt and use the Forestry woodlands for their inspiration as well as holiday destinations such as the Scilly Isles, Wales and Cornwall.
