Bedgebury Florilegium Society Exhibition at Westonbirt Arboretum

Bedgebury Florilegium Society Exhibition

This autumn, Westonbirt Arboretum is proud to host a stunning outdoor exhibition in celebration of our sister site, Bedgebury National Pinetum’s centenary. Created by the Bedgebury National Pinetum Florilegium Society, the exhibition features 18 exquisite botanical illustrations of trees found in both arboreta.

Each artwork tells a unique story, highlighting the beauty of the trees and the vital conservation work carried out at Bedgebury. These illustrations are not only visual masterpieces but also serve as scientific records, continuing the centuries-old tradition of botanical art.

To complement the exhibition, visitors can follow the Drawn to Nature trail or The Art of autumn family trail, which showcases several of the featured species. Pick up a free sketchbook from the Welcome Building and explore your artistic side as you discover different drawing techniques inspired by nature.

Want to find more of the trees featured in the exhibition? Use the Arboretum Explorer to locate them across the site and deepen your connection with Westonbirt’s living collection.
