Perfectly Imperfect autumn trail at Westonbirt Arboretum
‘Perfectly Imperfect’ autumn trail - 7 September - 30 November
We’re exploring the theme of maples this autumn, with an immersive trail that winds through the arboretum. Inspired by our national collection of Japanese maple cultivars, this trail invites you to explore the tree collection and the Japanese maples with a new curiosity.
Take a journey of ‘reconnection’ by experiencing the arboretum through the lens of Japanese aesthetic concepts. This brand-new trail brings together nine Japanese concepts that offer a different perspective on autumn colour. You will be encouraged to explore using all your senses. Find favourite spaces between the trees that spark joy, immerse yourself in nature and the season’s colourful wonder, and discover new meaning in the changing of the seasons.
