Look beyond the normal to see the incredible
A photography workshop devoted to slowing down, and exploring the techniques of Intentional Camera Movement and multiple exposure photography. Explore the beautiful woodland at Westonbirt, learn how to create images that represent your own personal experience.
This workshop day will be tailored towards 'seeing' beyond what is immediately obvious in front of us, and interpreting it in an individual way using the camera - It will include mindfulness exercises and forest bathing techniques to immerse individuals into the surroundings. I will then set small challenges throughout the day introduced by short tutorials, and then followed by 1:1 contact and help with each participant, to develop the skills of Intentional Camera movement and Multiple Exposure.
If you are new to either ICM or Multiple exposure, this is a great opportunity to dip your toe in the water of these techniques. If you have more experience, I will encourage you to explore the possibilities this wonderful location offers.
Please note this is not a purely ICM or Multiple exposure workshop. I do welcome all levels of knowledge, but if you are completely new to either of these techniques, please let me know when you book, so that I can send you links to a couple of videos to help you build your knowledge before the event.
