Step into a magical world of storytelling, movement and creativity this summer holiday!
Join us for a special interactive retelling of The Emperor and the Nightingale, the beloved fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. This engaging workshop invites families to experience the story in a whole new way through performance, participation and imagination.
Author, performer and artist Steven Skinley shares the magic of the story, while dancer Marie-Louise Flexen portrays the Nightingale through beautiful, expressive movement and encourages children to join in with fun, guided participation.
Following the performance, children will enjoy a hands-on crafting session where they can design, make and take home their very own magical bird mask.
Most suitable for ages 5 - 10.
