Windy Bank

Windy Bank Wood, near Warrington in the Culcheth and Glazebury area, is a mature woodland with peaceful trails winding through meadows, with young trees.

This site forms part of the Risley, Holcroft & Chat Moss National Nature Reserve. Glazebrook River weaves through Windy Bank creating a rich and varied habitat for wildlife. 

Forest management protects the nationally and internationally important species that thrive in this ecologically valuable area.

Access is through a private lane.
