Gruffalo Sculptures at Alice Holt

If you venture into the deep dark wood you may bump into the Gruffalo and other characters from Julia Donaldson's fantastic story! Each sculpture has been carved in a different position completely unique to Alice Holt Forest, and they bring this much-loved story to life in our forest. 

Head out on the Timberline trail to see if you can find all our Gruffalo character sculptures. We now have brand new Owl, Snake, Squirrel and Fox who complete our collection of magnificent wooden sculptures. Our sculptures of characters from this popular story provide perfect fun for little fans of the woodland creatures who will love discovering each of them on their adventure through the forest.
