Open every day except Christmas Day. 

The site is open from 8.30am until 30 mins before Wendover Woods closes.

By Car

Aston Clinton, Halton, and Wendover and Aylesbury are the nearest towns and villages.

From Wendover, take the B4009 towards Tring, take the right hand turn approximately 1 mile north of RAF Halton, signposted Wendover Woods and St Leonards. The main entrance to the woods is found on the right.

From the A41, take the Wendover exit (also signed Dunstable) and take the B4009 towards Aston Clinton. Take the first left towards Wendover. After approx 1/2 mile, take a left signposted Wendover Woods and St Leonards. The main entrance to the woods is found on the right.

By Public Transport

Local buses will take you as far as Halton and the Chiltern Line runs a regular service to Wendover from Marylebone. For details of public transport visit

Parking and prices

Parking is available onsite for members with approximately 40 spaces in the car park. A day pass for non-members is available from the machines onsite for £7.

Regular riders can save money with annual membership: 

  • Individual - £65
  • Family (2 adults & 2 children up to 16yrs old) - £115
