Saxons Orienteering Club is coming to Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest for the 2026 South East Long Distance Championships and a round of the South East League.
Orienteering is for anyone who loves being out in the wild. Armed with just a map and compass, you'll navigate off the beaten track into parts of the forest rarely explored, racing point to point in the fastest, most efficient route you can find.
While this is a national-level championship designed to crown the best orienteers of each age group in the Southeast, entrants of all abilities are welcome and friendly volunteers will be on hand to give guidance.

Entry fee:
Individual (British Orienteering member/non-member):
- Senior: £14.00/£17.00
- Senior Novice: £8.00
- Junior/Student: £6.00/£8.00
Group (member/non-member):
- £12.00/£15.00
From 23rd November onwards, the Senior Individual fee will rise to £17.00/£20.00.
Vehicle admission: discounted rate of £4 for event participants, or free for Forestry England members.
