Elf Trail at High Lodge

Enjoy some festive forest fun with this free family activity, perfect for getting outdoors over the winter season.

From Saturday 29 November, follow the trail through the forest and see if you can find all the hidden elves. Each elf has a clue to help you crack the code, so keep your eyes peeled as you explore.

Designed with younger children in mind, the trail is suitable for all ages and is a great way for families and visitors to enjoy the forest together during the Christmas holidays. Along the route, you'll discover a series of elf-themed displays nestled amongst the trees, with a special photo opportunity waiting for you at the end.

Pick up your trail sheet from the Information Point (open daily from 9am to 4pm) and follow the signs to begin your festive adventure.

The trail will be available throughout the Christmas holidays and into the first week of the New Year.

Please note: The trail route has changed from previous years.
