parkrun at Mallards Pike

Run our beautiful single loop route! Come and join us every Saturday at 9am.

parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs around the world. They are open to everyone, free, and are safe and easy to take part in.

These events take place in pleasant forest surroundings and people of every ability are encouraged to take part. From those taking their first steps in running to Olympians; from juniors to those with more experience; everyone is welcome.

Mallards Pike parkrun is a beautiful single loop route that snakes you through the wider, changing forest. Definitely a run of two halves, with the first 1.5 miles taking you along a gradual climb, making way for a speedy second half of gently downs and undulations, not forgetting a short sting in the tail at the very end!

The route is all run on hard stone paths so it is a favourite all year round, although as expected, it does get a little muddy in places after wet weather.
