West Cumberland Orienteering Club are bringing Spook-O back for 2023! This event is lots of fun for all the family. Bring a good torch with you..you never know what's around the corner! 

Fancy dress is encouraged!

We are very sorry that due to the thunderstorms that presented a risk to the audience, artists and staff, our Forest Live concert, Jack Savoretti with special guest Natalie Imbruglia on Sunday 11 June at Cannock Chase Forest, had to be cancelled on the night. Sadly, it will not be possible to reschedule this event.

What to expect

Forest bathing is slow, mindful time ‘immersing’ yourself in the forest atmosphere for health and wellbeing, no swimsuit required!

Join us for a magical guided evening walk through the forest.

Listen out for owls, learn about the wildlife in the forest and experience the wonders of the night sky. Finish with hot chocolate & marshmallows around a campfire.

Please bring a torch, wear warm clothing and sturdy footwear. All children must be accompanied by an adult. No dogs permitted. Suitable for age 5+.

Moon bathing is a take on the classic practice of forest bathing, by the light of the moon – a gentle, sensory and mindful walk in the moonlight, embracing the darkness of the forest and opening up our awareness to the night sky. We connect with the energy of the moon phase with a short meditation and ritual.

Autumn is a special time to visit the forest. The leaves are changing colour and the nights are drawing in. So much fun can be had splashing in puddles, spotting the autumn colours and warming up with a hot chocolate.

Autumn is also a special time for wildlife and for the fallow deer in Wyre Forest it means that rutting season is here.
