Arriving at the forest

Sence Valley has two car parks.

The site is unstaffed and there is no visitor centre.

There are local bus routes into Ibstock from the surrounding area, and it is a short walk to Sence Valley from the bus stops.

Car parking

There are no dedicated accessible parking bays.

Parking charges apply at Sence Valley. You can pay by card (card payment machines in both car parks) or by phone using cashless parking provider RingGo.

Getting out into the forest

There is no all-terrain mobility scooter hire at Sence Valley.

The All Ability Trail is an accessible non-waymarked loop, fairly level and only 1km in length.

Seating and shelter

There are three picnic areas near both car parks and also at a scenic point next to Horseshoe Lake.

Accessible benches can be found by the lower car park.
