Mobility Scooters

At Wendover Woods we believe everyone should be able to enjoy the forest, no matter their mobility. That’s why we’re pleased to offer two free mobility scooters to visitors with limited mobility, giving you the chance to effortlessly explore our easy-access trails and fully appreciate the woodland experience.

You do not need to be registered disabled to make use of our scooters.

On your arrival you will need to fill out an agreement form. Hire is free of charge.  You will be shown how to operate the scooter, given the terms and conditions of use, and be able to ask any questions. We ask you to book 72 hours in advance of the day you require the scooters. 

Our scooters are available for hire between 10:00 and 14:00. 

Please note that bookings may be cancelled in cases of severe weather. 

Where can you use it?

We have two suggested routes for our scooters, the Play trail and Hill Fort Trail (depending on weather). They are both level-graded and perfect for mobility scooters. There are also some beautiful views on both routes. We will supply both scooters with maps to help guide you along. 

Both scooters will also have radios to Forestry England staff members in case of any emergencies.
