Visit Willingham Woods today and you'll find a wide range of walking trails, activities and events

Willingham Woods is part of a large complex of pinewoods that are located east of Market Rasen. It provides a diverse range of recreational opportunities as well as an important source of timber.

The woodland is visited all year round but is especially popular during the summer months, when holidaymakers use it as a break point whilst heading to and from the coast.

There is a large car park and picnic site with a café and toilets in the adjacent lay-by, owned and run by Lincolnshire County Council.

Cycling is a fantastic way to explore Willingham Woods and soak up the beautiful scenery.

Cycling is available on the forest roads at the site, ensuring an enjoyable day out for everyone!

Horse riding is by permit only.

Try your hand at orienteering, a map reading challenge for all levels.

The aim for everyone is to navigate between control points marked on an orienteering map. If you are a little more competitive the challenge is to complete the course in the quickest time.

There is a permanent orienteering course available at the site.

Enjoy a tasty treat in the forest at Willingham Woods. Just bring along good food and company!

Picnic benches are available on-site. They are located by the car park and ponds.

To prevent forest fires and reduce waste, please do not bring any barbecues into our forests.
