On the A158 in Horncastle, turn onto the B1191 towards Woodhall Spa. As you are coming into Woodhall Spa look for a road called Kirkby Lane, there is a signpost pointing to it labelled Kirkby-on-bain. Just less that a mile down Kirkby Lane is an entrance on the right leading to Ostlers car Park.

Cycling is a fantastic way to explore Ostlers Plantation and soak up the beautiful scenery. 

There’s an excellent network of paths providing you with a range of route options around the woodland.

Ostlers Plantation offers a range of paths for you to ride on. Horse riding is allowed by permit only. 

Enjoy a tasty treat in the forest at Ostlers Plantation. Just bring along good food and company!

To prevent forest fires and reduce waste, please do not bring any barbecues into our forests.

Walking is the perfect way to get some fresh air and explore some of the area's most beautiful landscapes.

Ostlers Plantation has a variety of open paths and trails for you to explore.
