Sitting within the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Core Copse at East Hill offers a variety of breath-taking views.

This wonderful woodland has something for everyone with veteran trees, beautiful displays of bluebells and other wildflowers, and an array of historical monuments dating from prehistory to the Napoleonic Wars.

Things to do

There are many tracks and walkways to explore within the beautiful woodland. The flat circular trail offers an accessible track for most of the route, which is suitable for prams and capable mobility vehicles in drier months.

Trinity Hill sits within the East Devon National Landscape and borders the county of Dorset and nearby town of Lyme Regis.

It offers beautiful woodland walks with a variety of forest tracks and pathways to explore as well as areas of open heathland dedicated to wildlife.

Part of Haldon Forest, Chalet has a range of forest paths for you to explore. Enjoy mixed habitats of gorse and heath among the conifer and broadleaf trees.

Chalet is part of the Haldon Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) due to the diversity of plant and animal life here. Bring your binoculars and see what you can spot.
