Explore the world’s most complete collection of conifers and the wider forest with our programme of guided walks.

From expert-led monthly walks to relaxed wellbeing strolls and friendly introductory tours, our guided walks offer a great way to experience Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest at your own pace. 

Bedgebury National Pinetum guided walks 

Every month, you can join our knowledgeable Forestry England team to learn more about the world’s most complete collection of conifers, the stories behind the trees, and the role Bedgebury plays in conservation. From midsummer evening walks to curator-led tours, each walk explores a different theme, season, or area of the site.

Discovery tour 

From May 2026, every second and fourth Tuesday and Saturday of each month. 

New to Bedgebury? This relaxed, volunteer-led tour is a great place to start. Learn your way around the National Pinetum, meet some of its most remarkable trees, and begin exploring the wider forest.

Wellbeing walks 

Every Wednesday at 10 am. 

Slow down and enjoy time in nature on our wellbeing walks. Led by friendly volunteers, these relaxed strolls focus on fresh air, connection, and taking a moment for yourself in beautiful surroundings.

Walk, Talk, Explore 

Every Thursday at 9.30am. 

These relaxed walks are all about enjoying Bedgebury together. Walk, talk, and explore different routes through the Pinetum and wider forest while getting to know others along the way.
