Toilets

There is one accessible toilet at Friston Forest. 

Additionally there are two ladies toilets and one men's toilet, plus one urinal.

They are situated in the Friston Forest main car park, Litlington Road. No key is needed, and the door is not power assisted.

Changing Places

Friston Forest does not have a changing places facility.

Seven Sisters Country Park have full disabled toilet facilities, and is less than a 5 minute drive from Friston Forest car park.

Arriving at the forest

Friston Forest has two car parks.

The site is unstaffed and there is no visitor centre. Seven Sisters Country Park has its own visitor centre located less than 5 minutes from either car park.

Friston Forest is accessible via bus. 

The 12X bus runs to Seven Sisters from Brighton and Eastbourne every 20 minutes on Mondays to Saturdays. A limited Sunday service 13X provides the fastest service to Seven Sisters. The normal stopping service 12 also operates every 30 minutes on Sundays.

From the Seven Sisters car park, go to the forest side of the road, and follow the Forestry England logo signs to get to Friston Forest.

Car parking

There are no dedicated accessible parking bays, parking is not free and can be paid for on the Flowbird machines situated in the car park or via the RingGo app on your phone.

Getting out into the forest

There is no all-terrain mobility scooter hire at Friston Forest, and no specific easy access trail.

Seating and shelter

There are picnic benches, backed benches and unbacked benches located in both car parks.

Trails and activities

Friston Forest has two moderately-graded walking trails and two cycling trails.
