Facilities for hire at Bedgebury

Education and Community Room 

Located in the visitor centre, this versatile space is perfect for meetings, workshops and training sessions, with beautiful views across the lake to the National Pinetum. Pair your event with outdoor activities such as Go Ape, guided walks or cycling through the forest.

Atrium 

Available for exclusive hire outside visitor centre opening hours, the Atrium is Bedgebury’s signature event space, accommodating up to 120 guests. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame spectacular views across the lake to the National Pinetum, creating a memorable setting for conferences, receptions, networking events and celebrations.

Walled Garden 

Renovated in 2025, the Walled Garden is a versatile event space offering excellent access, infrastructure and flexibility. The site includes 139 hardstanding parking spaces and a further 1.4-acre hardstanding area suitable for event infrastructure, overflow parking for up to 191 vehicles, or operational use. Located with direct access from the public highway and close connections to the National Pinetum and Events Field, it provides an ideal base for events, supported by power, water and permanent toilet facilities.

Events Field 

Set within the National Pinetum, next to the Walled Garden, the 3.5-acre Events Field provides a spectacular setting for outdoor events. This level grassed space enjoys panoramic views and is supported by dedicated event infrastructure, including a hardstanding operational area with separate vehicle access, plus power and water supplies. Its flexibility makes it ideal for everything from community festivals and sporting events to corporate and private functions.
