From the South (via Hastings / A2100)
From Hastings, take the A2100 north towards Battle. Pass through the village of Baldslow and continue on the A2100. Shortly after joining the B2204, look for the turning into Whatlington. Footland Wood will be signposted on your left, approximately 1.5 miles before you reach Battle town centre.
From the North (via A21)
From the A21, follow the road south towards Battle. At the junction with the A2100 (Battle High Street), continue through the town centre heading south on the A2100. After leaving Battle, take the turning onto the B2204 towards Hastings. Look for signs to Whatlington. Footland Wood is located in the village of Whatlington, approximately 1.5 miles south of Battle.

By Bus
The Stagecoach 1066 service (Hastings – Hawkhurst – Tunbridge Wells) stops at The Royal Oak, Whatlington and Leeford Farm, Whatlington, both within walking distance of Footland Wood. The service runs Monday to Friday only, it does not operate on Saturdays or Sundays. From the Whatlington stops, Footland Wood is a short walk along Whatlington Road.
Bus 1066 runs from Hastings (approximately 30 minutes) and from Tunbridge Wells (approximately 80 minutes).
