Battle Great Wood, nestled on the outskirts of the historic town of Battle in East Sussex, is a peaceful stretch of ancient woodland that invites visitors to slow down and connect with nature.

Characterised by towering trees, winding paths, and pockets of rich wildlife, the wood offers a quiet contrast to the storied battlefield nearby.

Parking at Battle Great Wood

Parking at Battle Great Wood has been free of charge for many years. Unfortunately, as our operational costs keep rising, this is no longer sustainable and parking charges will soon be in place.
