The car park has a gravel surface with 30 spaces, it can get busy at peak times.

Parking charges will apply at Battle Great Wood from Monday 23 March, 2026.

Parking at Battle Great Wood has been free of charge for many years. Unfortunately, as our operational costs keep rising, this is no longer sustainable and parking charges will apply from Monday 23 March, 2026.

Money from car parking is essential to help us continue caring for the nation's forests, including Battle Great Wood and making them welcoming places to visit.
