Our car parks open at 8:00am all year around. We have the following closing times:

April, May, June, July, August - 20:00

September - 19:00

October - 18:00

November, December, January - 16:00

February - 17:00

March - 19:00

How to find us

Friston Forest is located adjacent to Seven Sisters Country Park, between Seaford and Eastbourne. There are three car parks at Friston Forest.

Friston Forest main car park is located on Litlington Road between Exceat and Litlington.

Butchershole car park is located on Jevington Road between Jevington and East Dean.

The Seven Sisters Countryside Park car park is located  off the A259 road between Seaford and East Dean. Please note, this car park is managed by East Sussex County Council, not the Forestry Commission but your Discovery Pass is still valid there.

The Seven Sisters, Friston and Abbots Wood Membership allows you free car parking at the following car parks:

  • Abbots Wood - Forestry England
  • Butchershole, Friston Forest - Forestry England
  • Litlington Road, Friston Forest - Forestry England
  • Seven Sisters Country Park Riverside - East Sussex County Council
  • Seven Sisters Country Park Forest - East Sussex County Council
