By Car
From the A377, turn off at Eggesford train station and cross the railway tracks. Take the first right turn, signposted Wembworthy/Winkleigh, and continue to t-junction. Turn right then immediately left, and continue for 1.2km/0.8 miles. Heywood car park will be on your right.
By Public Transport
Heywood is 3km/2 miles from Eggesford train station, which is served by GWR trains between Exeter and Barnstaple. Please note that there is no footpath, the walk is on narrow, national speed limit roads.
