Queen's Copse

Visitor information

Perfect for a peaceful walk or a trail run

Tucked away near Wimborne, Queen’s Copse is a quiet, characterful woodland surrounded by rolling farmland. A circular trail loops through a lovely mix of broadleaf trees, shady ponds and gentle streams, making it a perfect spot for a peaceful walk or a trail run.

In spring, the woodland floor comes alive with bluebells, followed by bright foxgloves later in the year. Keep your eyes peeled for beetles, butterflies and the occasional deer darting through the undergrowth. It’s a great place for wildlife spotting, or simply soaking up the birdsong.
