Feel Good in the Forest at Thames Chase

Activity timetable for Thames Chase

Thames Chase Community Woodlands offers a variety of activities as part of the Feel Good in the Forest project. These activities are free to take part in and include optional time at the end for refreshments and socialising. You can self-refer to the project or be referred by a support organisation or worker.

Places are booked as a block of free sessions - you must book your space and register in advance to take part in these sessions.

Nordic walking: Thursdays 10:00am to 11:00am

Nordic walking is a low impact walk using poles, which creates an enhanced technique to work both upper and lower body. When done correctly it can use 90% of the body’s muscles. It is a fun and social activity that can be enjoyed throughout the year. It's ideal for people that haven’t exercised in a while.

Current dates for 2025 are: 13, 20, 27 November and 4, 11 December 2025

Equipment will be provided.
