Your forest escape in the heart of Cheshire

Delamere Forest is your go-to green space—just a short trip from Manchester or Liverpool. Step off the train at our own station and straight into fresh air, towering trees and wide-open trails.

Whether you’re here for a peaceful walk, a family adventure or a thrill up in the treetops, Delamere has you covered. Wander accessible paths, spot wildlife by the lake, or take on an orienteering challenge. Climb to the top of Old Pale for views stretching all the way to Liverpool.

Looking for more of a getaway? Forest Holidays cabins are tucked away among the trees—ideal for a quiet break or a base for exploring.

Hire a bike and hit the trails, refuel at the Delamere Forest Café, or get your adrenaline fix at Go Ape.

There’s something for everyone, all year round. Come and find your forest.
