Pre-booking is essential to guarantee your entry on these key dates:

Please note, if you would like to access Westonbirt free of charge as a member, please purchase your membership in advance of pre-booking, as we are unable to reimburse pre-booked admission tickets when signing up for membership on arrival. Tickets are available to book 7 days in advance online or over the phone, up to 30 minutes prior to a time slot.

    Pre-booking information

    Pre-booking is not essential except for key dates. For visitors who prefer pre-booking before arrival this option is still available. Next key dates 30 Sep – Sun 12 Nov 2023.

    You can arrive anytime in your 20 minute timeslot. Once in the arboretum you can stay for as long you like, however be aware that the arboretum closes at 5pm.

    Pre-booking is available up to 7 days in advance. Tickets will be available to book online up to 30 minutes before the admission timeslot.

    Under 5's are free but do require a ticket.

    During your visit

    Tickets being scanned at Welcome Building
    Purchase tickets or show a pre-booked ticket to staff upon arrival. If you are a member of Westonbirt Arboretum or a reciprocal garden you’ll also need to show your valid membership card.

    Book scooter online or over the phone. Last time slot to book is 2.20pm. Scooters to be returned by 4pm. Must be 16 or over to operate a scooter. Manual wheelchairs can be hired for visitors 15 & under.

    Dog
    Dogs are welcome on leads on The Downs and permitted off lead in Silk Wood if well behaved, stay in sight and return when called. Dogs are not permitted in the Old Arboretum or at events.
    Children on scooter
    Welcome if under 70cm from floor to handle bars.

    Food and drink available at the Kitchen, Pantry and Smokehouse, card only. Get 30p off your hot drink in the Pantry when you bring a reusable cup.

    All purchases go straight back into looking after the National Arboretum.
