Facilities and access

We have reopened our car park and toilets. We are sure many people will be keen to get out and about,  so to  avoid crowds,  please be  aware you may need to  be  prepared to make the  necessary  decision  to  turn around  if the car park looks busy, or is full,  and come another time.

Our main playground, Playwood and our Timberline Trail are now open. On our Habitat Trail, the Dormouse is open, but the Owl, Woodpecker and Tunnels remain closed.

The cafe is open for take away food and drink only, but bike hire and archery have been withdrawn.

We are operating as a cashless site. Please ensure you can pay for parking and other purchases by card.

No portable barbecues, disposable barbecues, fires or camp stoves are allowed at Alice Holt Forest.

When you  visit the nation’s forests, remember it is your responsibility to follow the new guidance on  staying safe outside your home. We are cleaning our car parking machines throughout the day but for your own safety please bring hand sanitiser with you to use after touching the machines.
