Opening Hours

Open every day except Christmas Day.  

Winter opening hours are 8:00am until 6:00pm.

Spring/Summer opening hours are 8:00am until 10:00pm.

In 2019 we will revert to Spring/Summer when the clocks go forward, and revert back to Winter when the clocks go back during October half term.

Sherwood Pines is located in the Heart of Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire, on the B6030 east of Kings Clipstone.

By Public Transport

If coming via the bus take the number 14 or 15 to Kirton or Walesby from Mansfield bus station. They run every half hour Monday-Saturday and every hour on Sundays. Please check details with Stagecoach.

We have a large landscaped car park with good access to the Visitor Centre. here are also larger surrounding car parks that are used for events and weekends.

We are unable to give change for the car parking machines. Card payments can be taken. Motorcycles are free.

A group visit charge of £50 applies for groups of 20 or more people. This charge is to cover the costs of large group visits. Please ensure that you contact the Visitor Centre on 01623 822535 before visiting.
