Step into autumn at Wyre Forest

Feast your eyes on the colours of autumn at Wyre Forest, the largest woodland National Nature Reserve in the country. Located west of Birmingham on the Worcestershire-Shropshire border, our ancient woodland is the perfect place for leaf peeping.

Whether you’re seeking outdoor fun, fresh air, or unforgettable family moments, Wyre Forest is here for your autumn adventure.

Why visit Wyre Forest this autumn?

  • explore our leafy arboretum and discover the rare Whitty Pear. Enjoy the changing colours as the season turns.
  • challenge yourselves on the high ropes at Go Ape Wyre Forest or a competitive round of disc golf! Afterwards, refuel with treats and refreshments at our welcoming on-site cafe.
  • choose your adventure with a wide variety of trails for walking, cycling, running, and horse riding. Discover something new around every corner of this large forest.
  • we believe everyone should enjoy nature. All-terrain mobility scooters are available to hire (advance booking recommended) to ensure our trails are accessible for visitors with limited mobility.
  • bring your furry friends along! Our convenient dog wash service means a clean pooch after a muddy adventure.
