  • Treat yourself in our lakeside cafe, brimming with hearty favourites, homemade cakes, and seasonal treats—perfect alongside a warm drink as you soak up the spring sunshine.
  • Burn off some energy on our running trails, from a gentle 2km jog to a challenging 10km route weaving through the fresh greens and growing light of the season.
  • Adrenaline seekers can rise through the canopy along Go Ape high ropes as the trees burst into leaf.
  • Glide through the woodland on an exhilarating Segway tour, surrounded by the sights and scents of spring.
  • Bring your bikes and cycle the family-friendly Colliers Trail to explore the wider forest as it comes to life in vibrant colour.
  • Little adventurers will love searching for the hidden Gruffalo panels dotted around the lake in our Gruffalo orienteering challenge.

Please note: Use of the lake itself is by booking only. Swimming and personal water sports are not permitted in any lakes or ponds within the Forest of Dean.
