Open every day except Christmas Day. The site opens at 8am every day and the closing times are as follows:
November to February - 5:00pm
March - 6:30pm
April - 8:00pm
May to August - 9:00pm
September - 7:30pm
October - 6:30pm
We are open every Thursday until 9pm for late night Thursdays with Pedalabikeaway.
Opening times vary for the cafe, bike hire and shop differ. Check here for information.
If you're looking for a quieter visit, consider weekdays (outside of school holidays), or later in the afternoon/evening.

Take the B4226 Coleford-Cinderford road and at the crossroads with the B4234 turn north and follow the signs to the Cycle Centre.
By Public Transport

- The Robin Bus is your local, friendly bookable bus service. From Gloucestershire County Council, this bus service improves connections between rural areas which often have infrequent or no fixed routes available. The Robin Bus stops outside Beechenhurst (part of the Forest of Dean South area). From here, you can reach the Forest of Dean Cycle Centre along the Colliers Trail. Parking and prices
You can pay for your parking with debit/credit card, Google Pay/Apple Pay or through the RingGo app.
Visit often? Members park for free. Buy Forest of Dean membership now for £55 to simply park and go while supporting your favourite forest. Or choose to buy a Forestry England national membership for £96 a year and enjoy visiting forests all over the country. Membership covers the whole household.
Members: This site has barrierless ANPR. You do not need to display your membership car disc here, your number plate will be recognised. Please visit Manage My Membership if you need to update your vehicle registrations. Only one vehicle is permitted per visit. Free parking for Forestry England national members and Forest of Dean members only.

Facilities and access
When visiting Forest of Dean Cycle Centre please make sure you only ride on our waymarked cycle trails or on hard-stone forest roads. Please come fully prepared and be self-sufficient for your visit:
- Make sure your bike is in full working order
- Make sure you have a backpack which contains: First aid kit, water, snacks, spare inner tube, pump, small repair kit, map, fully charged mobile phone.
- First Aid will not be available on site. Make sure you ride within your limits and WEAR YOUR HELMET.
- Know your location at all times and have a mobile phone to raise help. If you do have an accident make your way back to your vehicle if you are able to. Only call 999 if it is essential.
- Please respect other visitors - the forest is a popular place and you will probably come across walkers, runners or horse riders during your visit. Please be polite and be kind to each other.

Bleed kit
Thanks to Forest of Dean District Council, we have an emergency bleed kit on site. Information about where this is located can be found here.
A set of educational videos has been produced by HeartSafe to inform the public on the effective use of the bleed kit to manage blood loss before the arrival of ambulance services. You can watch these here.
